Merging is appropriate when separate documents belong in one delivery package and the page order is known. Arrange files deliberately, use meaningful filenames before import, and inspect boundaries between documents so blank pages, rotated scans or duplicate attachments do not pass unnoticed.
Encrypted, damaged or unusually structured PDFs may not merge correctly. Digital signatures can become invalid when documents are modified. Interactive forms, layers, bookmarks and accessibility tags may not survive every browser library operation. For legal, archival or signed material, use an approved document process and validate the result independently.
The merge is designed to take place in the browser, but documents remain accessible to the device and browser session. Do not process confidential or regulated files unless that local workflow has been approved for the data.
